I self elected myself to go for one at 20 and was told my womb hadn’t developed and that it may lead to a false positive result. Results were fine. I’ve since had two more and I’m 27 now. I dread the next one because it was excruciatingly sore for me. The nurse told me I had a tilted womb, which is apparently nothing to worry about. No matter how sore it is, it’s better to go along and get checked for peace of mind! And don’t let them tell you you’re too young either! Cancer does not discriminate against age!
