I think immigration should be scattered in Canada not always main cities. Yes immigration is important but there are other provinces who need them to have it grow and become sustainable Another article that doesn't understand the difference between immigrants and refugees. Canada has always welcomed immigrants. 20 years ago I was one of them. And before all the right wing populist narrative, nobody batted an eye at it either.  I'm a born and raised Canadian. My Dad is Canadian as well but my mother is from Jamaica and moved here at 12 yrs old. When she moved here, she hated it so much, mostly cuz of the weather. I always asked her why she moved, and she would always tell me it was for better opportunities. Fast forward to today, and my mother has gotten accustomed to this country. Loving the diversity she sees in the suburbs. Making a lot of friends, which some of them are my godmothers. Healthcare is on point. Without it, my mom wouldn't have beatened cancer. I believe our country is amazing, and we definitely have the space. So why not bring more immigrants to our country. I know this is my opinion and some Canadians don't feel this way.
