 I love love love this. Love that she’s portrayed as a big gentle giant and not what a lot of movies and other media make sharks out to be. Respect nature and they will respect you! While this is an incredible picture, as someone who lives in Hawaii, I've seen several videos the last couple of days of her touching this shark every chance she got, and that is wrong. As a diver, she should know you absolutely do NOT touch marine animals, period! You respect them and give them their space. Especially a great white shark. She set a very bad example of what not to do.  I saw somewhere that 100 million sharks are killed every year. They might look scary, but they're essential to the ecosystem and humans are certainly capable of hunting them to extinction I've seen Alot of shark experts swimming with great whites , theres a freediver on Youtube doing it actually , but apart from recently on facebook I've never seen anyone swimming (unless by accident as a facebook clip the other day showed) with Orca's also known as killer whales even though they're more related to dolphins before any "Whale experts" pop up.
