I literally said that it is a well-intentioned statement. But since you're analyzing arguments, really take into account what I am saying instead of "picking apart someone's words". Try seeing past your own fragility and try and empathize with people who are reminded of their color every day. I don't want people to say to me, I don't see your color. It is a statement in my opinion that marginalizes who I am rather than acknowledge who I am. Acceptance and inclusiveness are two different statements in my opinion. If you accept me then you are acknowledging who I am, as I am. Inclusion, rather, is more like saying you're different but you can play with us. The very nature of the word inclusion acknowledges that you do in fact see color, otherwise what am I being "included" in.
