First, this is beautiful and I'm 100% in support of it. Love transcends all boundaries. However, as I read through comments, I realize that I hate the phrase "I don't see color." You see, our various shades and demographics create diversity and diversity is beautiful. The only person who says they don't see color, is one who has never been affected by it. You can bet these parents see color. You can bet they are aware of the struggles they will face as a family for being "different". The beauty is that they chose to love this girl despite those boundaries. Please start "seeing color". This is a statement people make in an attempt at empathy. It has every good intention behind it. But we live in a world where whether you choose to see color or not, most others do. To empathize with people of color, don't deny that identity, embrace it.. understand it... Empathy and love do not deny differences, they embrace them
